A humbling experience

Our student interns have been working on a software to design floor plans and we are all still figuring out how to do it. One student intern has been super fast while working on floor plans and while watching him work is how we realised small things that increase our productivity… using rectangles (we were struggling with lines, offset etc) , placing furniture before raising the walls, grouping and ungrouping.

He taught us “Simple steps can be used to create the most complex plans”. It set us thinking and he has actually taught us a much bigger life lesson. ”Life is simple and it is upto us to keep it simple and not complicate everything”. Our students inspire us in many ways and this is just one of the many examples.

As we speak, he is working with a floor plan having 29 facilities. Complex floor plans made simple!
