The focus of this third chapter was to explore sensory-based activities for vocation or leisure – activities such as pottery, origami, sewing, weaving, garden art, jewellery with beads and fireless cooking. Did it arouse the curiosity of the children? Oh yes it did.

The children were keen to explore the different stations set up at Mirra and participated enthusiastically, leading us to yet another window to peek into their fascinating world !!

Our earlier sessions of SEE had play and functional activities as the premise with which children and parents were facilitated to discover and engage meaningful options of interacting with each other.
