What inspires you?
This question stared at me from the screen when I landed on a random page online this morning. And it got me thinking.
I don’t ever go far. What inspires me is what I hear and who I see everyday around me: a colleague who models the highest form of compassion and commitment without as much as a sound; a family member who by sheer grit and determination shows the way of change; a caregiver who is hurting so badly because of her child’s 'suffering’ but says “I am not going to miss my 1 hour of me-time binge watching TV coz I need to be back in my elements and by his side tomorrow morning”; a 6 year old who talks excitedly and passionately about the goat’s clean round potty during show and tell in my session or an ever so quiet teenager who has one look at my face when the session starts and says “Sirikallame ma”. All in a day. Need look no further.
Forever grateful for these inspirations that come in leaps and bounds.
