It was an Outstanding October for us, with a new theme every week.
In the first-week children folded colored paper in the shape of a carrot and also made colorful butterflies. You all must have guessed what our theme was - “papercraft”.
The second week was all about decorating their homes using natural materials. Our children picked up leaves, flowers, and rangoli powder to create the most beautiful patterns that brightened their houses and spread the fragrance of freshness.
So what did we do in the third week? Children stuck flowers and shells creating a great combo of textures on a drawn pattern. A rangoli drawing on paper was colored using watercolors. Colored rice was stuck to the marigold flower drawing.
Lastly, in the fourth week, we were getting ready for Deepavali. Guessed it right! Children painted the diya’s with their favorite colors and decorated them with bindis.
Our little ones moved their hands and legs to create crafts and learn. We really enjoyed seeing them have fun month after month.
