Certification day 2024

Mirra certification day 2024 had thirty five students across age groups receiving their certificates on 13-4-2024. Three student courses and two parent/facilitator empowerment courses came to a conclusion for the current batch of students . Dr. Shiva Prakash Srinivasan, Psychiatrist, and Dr. Raja Samuel, Principal, MSSW, graced the occasion as chief guests. Videos that captured the student journey were streamed for every course. Editing of the video and design of the certificates were done in-house by our digital literacy students. Amongst congratulations and appreciation, the chief guests urged the awardees to take their learnings to the next level and use it purposefully.
Beaming smiles, heartfelt testimonials and group photos were the order of the day. A moment of pride indeed!

Certification day 2023

The opening theme song for the day could well have been “Congratulations and Celebrations”. What else would suit the happy closure we had this morning to all our group programs, certificate courses and a diploma program.
Mr Gopinath P, Director and Head of Human Resources, Verizon India and Ms Arudhra Mathur, Country HR Lead, Grundfos pumps (I) Ltd joined the proud parents and facilitators and the eager students this morning at Mirra.
Students of our group programs received their annual progress report - Arumbu, our early intervention group; Saaram, our young teens group and Manjari, our teen girls group.
Students of Malarchi – a certification program for late teen and young adults - were proud receivers of their report and course completion certificate.
Students who completed LBAEMP (Learning Based Ability Enhancement Multimedia Program) - a multimedia program in collaboration with AIMS MEDIA – were cheered as they received double recognition – from AIMS MEDIA their report and certificate and from Mirra a letter of appreciation for their projects.
Students received their reports and certificates amongst loud cheer from all the parents and grandparents assembled and along with many a happy tear. Celebration continued in the form of sumptuous snack and reminiscing the journey from the initial jitters to the confident closure that came about today.
A day full of inspiring moments - a chief guest and guest of honor who practice and advocate inclusion in the work place and in their lives; our parents who walk the path with their wards tirelessly and with joy to take them to the next level; our students who give us the confidence to dare more - Hmmm, what can we say? We could probably borrow the lines of a famous song – inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale . . . chaale idi chaale . . .
