Have you had an opportunity to grin till your cheeks hurt and wipe your happy tears?
Can you be absolutely tensed and elated at the same time?
You think you know your child, but after their performance you feel ‘wow’ my child is lot more than what I thought of him/her? Answer is ‘Yes’ to all the above.
We had this small dream that we nurtured online past two years. An event, Kalakriti, where our students showcase their talents. Our dream became reality again on January 29, 2023 with 4 hours of non-stop performances from our students and we all enjoyed it with family and friends in person.
It was a series of “you got to see it to believe it” moments. Our kutties owning and walking n’ talking in the stage was just the beginning. What a wide variety of programs - singing, playing instruments, storytelling, thirukkural reciting, dancing to arts and martial arts display. You name it and we had it.
It was not only our students; it was our parents’ show too. From rangoli to choreography to being the masters of ceremony - they took it and ran with it. Kudos 💐💐
Our Chief Guest, Prof Arshinder Kaur and Guest of Honour Mr Senthilvelavan IRS, enjoyed and cheered the students along with us. Them noticing the bonding our children have and the values our children displayed - well we are literally in the clouds. We will all be talking about this for some time to come. Heart full of happiness, treasure trove of memories - we will be re-visiting each moment in our mind multiple times.
What a beautiful venue - TEACH auditorium of SPASTN, a place where all our children felt so comfortable. Very supportive set up. Thank you 🙏🏻
All our well-wishers and mentors that came and blessed us with their presence . . . mmm, heart is full, as we said. Thank you, Universe, for making it all happen!
