Mirra buzzed with laughter. For an hour and a half, those present moved and clapped and drew and blew and played with balloons. They were alert and aware of themselves as well as others in the group. Some were quiet to start with but their voices were heard loud and clear by the end. Some were giggly and chatty. Some were moms and the rest their sons and daughters. They were all part of a session facilitated by Gitanjali Sarangan, the person who was responsible for all this fun and laughter.
Some of us onlookers remembered to close our mouths from time to time - awestruck by the level of engagement, the joy and the apparent sense of happiness in being part of a group.
Listening to the sharings in the circle at the end of the session, we smiled widely as we ticked off against the aims we had in mind for the group.
