Sangamam September 2023
Sangamam at Mirra is an attempt to bring in various performing artistes and audience enjoy their time together celebrating art !!
Mirra had the opportunity to hear the Thisram band on 30th September at 4pm
What an amazing show and a big shout out to this band of young musicians who sang and mesmerized their way into our audience hearts!
The evening began with an invocation to Lord Ganesha and ended with a rocking live Thillana which had the audience also participate in it.
Thisram led by Aditya, the percussionist and quartet of vocalists (Bhargavi,Sivaranjani,Shreemathi and beatboxer Akshara) were brilliantly supported on the keys by Srivathsan… this young team so passionate about creating contemporary music with traditional flavour enthralled all of us with their smiles and singing throughout the concert.Special thanks and mention to Mr.Raja, their sound engineer who ensured our request to be mindful of our students auditory sensitivities .
Mirra 's students and their families had an awesome musical treat and eager for many more moments!!
