Shakti – Empowering Parents

Mirra organizes a series of workshops, certificate courses and webinars under the Shakthi initiative, aimed at empowering parents to actively support the holistic development of their children.

Digital Literacy: A certificate course under Vinithi our parent empowerment initiative focuses on digital literacy. With 7 months and 7 modules to cover, each student traversed from learning basics about their devices to creating their own multimedia product all the while keeping their digital identity safe and cyber security foremost in their mind.

The “Understanding Reading – Learning Reading the Whole-Word Way” webinar is a three-part online series facilitated by Mirra’s in-house experts.

Another three-part online series, “Understanding Behaviour,” is offered to parents of youngsters above 12 years .

Additionally, a dedicated workshop on “Understanding Behaviour” is conducted for parents of children below 10 years.

These sessions equip parents with practical strategies and deeper insights into supporting their children’s learning and behavioural needs. Participants report increased confidence and a greater sense of community, enabling them to more effectively nurture their ward’s growth at home.
